Article - Save money with sticks

Hello fellow gardeners.

What a week. First we got more snow than we have seen in years then it warms up to 40+ and rain! Sitting here watching the fog and rain I came across a great artical in our local paper that may interest you. Its a great idea and will get you out and busy thinking and working toward spring.

Happy New Year from Brandywine Farm Nursery

Happy New Year from Brandywine Farm. 2008 started out with a bang!!! We have 18 inches of snow this morning. We are spending our day pushing snow off of the greenhouses and keeping the generators going. The good news is all the snow is great insulation for the many perennial gardens that are located on our property. It blocks the wind to keep your plants from the drying winds of winter. Its hard to imagine on days like this that we will be planting our baskets and bringing some of the hydrangeas out of dormancy in 4 weeks.
